Color is in Season

What to Know

As summer approaches it’s peak, we know there are some questions about how to assign a proper color scheme to your window treatments. Sure, you’ve got your summer warms and complimentary hues but what about a sustainable color scheme? Each season has its traditional colors, but what about preparing for long term options? No need to change your treatments from summer to fall colors, we’ve got you covered with options for all seasons.

Trends

We’ve noticed a peak in bold colors for window treatments, ranging from burnt yellow and orange all the way to muted teal and aqua. While trends can be confusing and difficult to keep up with, there are a few setups that will weed you of your worries. First, the bold yet inclusive blues, a top trending color while allowing for flexibility in future planning. Plus, these colors match with a variety of seasonal and trend-setting hues.

Rose Gold

Another prominent trend we’ve taken note of is Rose Gold. This new spin on a traditional look has hit the web with quite an impact. From sunglasses to phone cases, rose gold is the talk of the town. We’ve found that pairing this trending color with burgundy and gold, produces an elegant, professional look.

Cobalt Blue

Finally, the most prominent color trend we absolutely love is Cobalt Blue. Making it’s debut in late 2014 and early 2015, this vibrant hue of blue is not easily ignored. Of course you might not want standard cobalt as your blind dressing, but incorporating it into your interior design can help alleviate future color choices. Plus, cobalt is a rare tone that actually matches with almost the entire color spectrum in terms of decor, wall color, etc.
